The New Jersey State Council on the Arts will convene its next regular business meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown. In a meeting organized around the theme of the importance of artists to our communities, the main item on the agenda will be the announcement of the 2015 Artist Fellowship Awards in the categories of photography, playwriting and sculpture.
Directly after the conclusion of the business meeting, the Arts Council's 18th Annual Artists' Roundtable will convene at the same location at 2:45 p.m. This year's Artists' Roundtable will highlight topics of interest to artists working in all disciplines. The event will feature three 60 minute sessions with presentations on professional opportunities for artists, exhibition and performance space and networking.
